Your “Choice Dollars” can help Chisago Lake Lutheran Church

Eligible benefit members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans can now help choose where Thrivent Financial distributes a portion of its charitable funds through a program called “Choice Dollars.”  This program replaces the funding Thrivent used to give to churches, including Chisago Lake Lutheran Church.  Here is how it works:
 

̃ Eligible benefit members receive a letter telling them how many Choice Dollars they are able to direct.

̃ The number of Choice Dollars is based on qualifying insurance premiums, qualifying contract values, and Thrivent Financial volunteer leadership.

̃ Choice dollars can be directed to thousand of Lutheran organization, INCLUDING CHISAGO LAKE LUTHERAN CHURCH.

̃ Potential amounts range from $50 to $2500 for each eligible benefit member.

So, Thrivent members, please strongly consider directing your Choice Dollars to Chisago Lake Lutheran Church.  We have the
potential to receive more dollars from Thrivent than under its former system, but we need our eligible Thrivent members to CHOOSE CHISAGO LAKE LUTHERAN! 

 You can call 1-800-847-4836 and talk to a Thrivent Representative and they will assist you will your Choice Dollars designation or

 Here are step by step instructions on how to designate Thrivent Choice funds using the Thrivent Website.

  1. Connect to https://www.thrivent.com/thriventchoice/  and select "GET STARTED" Sign in with your username and password or register for an account.
  2. Once logged in, in the middle of the next page, type in "Chisago Lake Lutheran Church" in the "Organization Name" box, "Center City" in the city box and "MN" in the state box and click search.
  3. Next to our church name, select the "Direct Now" button. You will be able to assign all or part of Thrivent Choice dollars to us. You can also set it up so the church continues to get your future Thrivent Choice Dollars.
  4. Click the "submit button" and Thrivent Choice Dollars will be sent to our ministry.

  1. Call 800-847-4836.
  2. Follow the prompts that are given.
  3. You will be asked for the last four digits of your Social Security number. Then you will be sent through an automated operator system.
  4. Our church is listed as "Chisago Lake Lutheran Church"
