Volunteer Opportunities

Not only is there a place for you in this church, there is a great need for your time and skills for doing God’s work at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church.  Everywhere you look, there are opportunities to share God’s love and serve our neighbor. This is work we do together in the name of Jesus Christ.  Let us help you find an opportunity that matches your interests, gifts and available time.

Chisago Lake Lutheran Church is a historic property.  As such, its age begins to show if the care and regular maintenance are not kept up to date.   As is true with any property, preventive measures help to avoid expensive repairs later.  This maintenance includes all areas of the interior and the grounds surrounding the building, which provide its attractive setting.  Beyond the routine cleaning and repair provided weekly by staff, there are the additional tasks which volunteers can fulfill.  Seasonal changes each year require added steps to repair and refresh the grounds after weather events; constant usage of the building brings dirt, dust, wear and tear into all areas.  All of these influences create countless opportunities for volunteers to assist with the tender, loving care this grand church deserves.  All volunteer help is welcome and needed.  Contact the Property Committee at propertycllc@gmail.com
