VALENTINE'S DAY DINNER Come join us on VALENTINE'S DAY, Tuesday, Feb. 14, 6:00 pm, as we head again for the Cornerstone Restaurant in nearby Wyoming. Last year 32 romantic people enjoyed either broiled or deep fried Canadian walleye, broiled breast of chicken, half rack of ribs smothered with barbeque sauce, or an 8 ounce sirloin steak. The $20 cost includes baked potato, dinner salad, beverage, tax, and gratuity. Everybody's favorite, former county commissioner David A. Johnson, will entertain us with a few old-time love songs while waiting for our supper. Arrangements are made by the Historical Committee, with any profits going to the CancerBusters, our church-sponsored anti-cancer team. But hurry! Money and menu choices need to be in the church office by Wednesday, Feb. 8. FEBRUARY 22nd, 2012 Service at 7:00 p.m. Lenten Soup Supper at 5:45 Soup Suppers will be served again this year, beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 22nd. The suppers will be served at 5:45 pm each week. The Lenten Service follows at 7:00. STEAK AND CHICKEN Fundraiser Dinner Porterhouse Restaurant Center City Tuesday, February 21st Serving from 5:30 to 6:30 pm Proceeds from this event will go toward Luther Point programming for CLLC youth.
